Anatomy and Physiology of the Central Vestibular System
Presented by Jeffrey Hoder and Laura Morris

Description
This webinar offers a detailed exploration of the anatomy and physiology of the central vestibular system, emphasizing its role in integrating sensory information to maintain balance, gaze stability, and postural control. Participants will examine the structures and pathways of the central vestibular system, including the vestibulo-ocular, vestibulospinal, and vestibulo-autonomic reflexes, and their functional connections to the cerebellum and cortex. Designed for occupational and physical therapists, this webinar provides foundational knowledge to enhance clinical assessment and intervention strategies for individuals experiencing central vestibular dysfunction.
After the lecture, there will be a Q&A session with the instructors to dive deeper into questions related to anatomy and physiology of the central vestibular system.
