This webinar showcases the first part of a 4-course series describing Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), a treatment method for children with severe childhood apraxia of speech (CAS). This webinar, an introduction to DTTC, focuses on how motor- based treatment is different from that used to treat phonology and why that is so important in treating CAS. The goal and key characteristics of DTTC are discussed.

Dr. Edythe Strand is Emeritus Speech Pathologist, Department of Neurology, Mayo Clinic, and Emeritus Professor, Mayo College of Medicine.
