Because of the nature of our work, healthcare professionals are at high risk of burnout, which is associated with decreased job satisfaction, increased medical errors, and decreased mental well-being. This session is designed for healthcare professionals looking to combat burnout and promote a healthier
work environment for themselves and their teams.

Participants will start by exploring the importance of addressing workplace burnout. We’ll examine relevant data and trends within the healthcare sector, helping attendees understand why tackling burnout is vital for both individual well-being and organizational health. You will learn how to identify characteristics of burnout and how to self-assess your current stress levels.

Next, we’ll delve into practical, evidence-based strategies for mitigating burnout and explore the theory behind burnout. Attendees will develop personalized action plans to prevent burnout, focusing on practical steps to maintain their own well-being as well as that of their teams.
