This course will prepare healthcare workers and staff for an active shooter, terrorism or bomb threat emergency. Learners will become familiar with the emergency response procedure, A-L-I-C-E, how to identify suspicious packages and how to conduct a bomb search in their facility. An interactive scenario will provide a thought provoking demonstration of what workers can expect during this type of emergency and how to appropriately communicate and cooperate with first responders.
This course meets the regulatory standards outlined in OSHA Act of 1970 29 USC 654(a)
