This course will address driver safety basics, including elements of a safe driving program, preparing for adverse weather conditions and defensive driving. In Chapter 2, the course covers the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and certain medications as well as avoiding aggressive, distracted and drowsy driving.
This course aligns with guidelines outlined by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) for employers to reduce employee motor vehicle accidents.
