This chapter will provide a review of NMES terminology and meanings. It will explain indications for successful NMES use and situations in which NMES is not indicated.
2. NMES Variables: Examples in Action
This chapter will provide examples and demonstrations of the NMES variables in action. Specific examples of electrode selection and placement, pulse width, and rate will be provided.
3. Troubleshooting for Success
This chapter will provide demonstrations of the inadequate application of NMES. There will be explanations for decisions in the troubleshooting process. Demonstrations will then be done after the correct adjustments have been implemented.
