Treatment of functional dysphagia by an SLP can be successful and rewarding. With our support and guidance, patients can often improve their symptoms, return to a regular diet, eliminate abnormal swallowing behaviors, and enjoy eating with friends and family again. This course will review specific therapeutic techniques used by an SLP to manage patients with functional dysphagia.
