In this series, participants will explore strategies for coaching for development. Leaders will often find more success in utilizing a coaching leadership style than authoritarian or other leadership styles. This series explores 1:1 meetings and annual performance reviews as well as strategies for negotiating feedback, including asking for feedback, and critical, or developmental feedback to team members. Remember, these short videos can serve as a quick reminder or refresher of skills you may already have as an experienced leader. Since conflict can bring out strong emotions, use the first video to establish the right mindset before you go into a potential conflict situation. These skills are reinforced throughout the series with practical examples and scenarios.

5. Giving Critical Feedback: Part 1
Providing critical, or developmental, feedback is an opportunity for you to help your team members grow professionally. This course introduces skills and techniques to provide developmental feedback effectively to member of your team.
6. Giving Critical Feedback: Part 2
This course builds on the skills introduced in the previous course by introducing several scenarios that exemplify effective feedback as well as mitigation and de-escalation strategies.
7. Giving Effective Positive Feedback
In an instantaneous world of constant information, people always want to receive feedback. In this course, learners will explore the benefits of giving positive feedback, and learn techniques for giving positive feedback in a way that motivates change.
