Part 1 covers core responsibilities and qualifications for serving as a Texas HCSSA Administrator or Alternate Administrator. It includes instruction on state and federal laws, licensing requirements, and foundational skills for managing agency operations.

Part 2 emphasizes the practical implementation of essential regulations, including:

  • Texas Human Resources Code, Chapter 102: Rights of the Elderly
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Civil Rights Act of 1991
  • Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) of 1993
  • OSHA regulations


Part 3 covers additional topics related to the administrator role and responsibilities, including:
  • Effective People Management
  • Survey Survival

Target audience
