Hearing loss later in life is very common. Treating hearing loss can help improve patients’ and residents’ health outcomes and well-being.
In this course, we’ll describe types of hearing loss, including typical changes due to aging, and common causes of it. We will discuss the potential impact of hearing loss, if left untreated, as well as strategies and technology to improve communication.
