Course Objectives

2. Identify and differentiate between welcoming behavior and unintentionally offensive behavior in interpersonal interactions with coworkers
3. Recognize and avoid microaggressions by understanding common themes, such as generalizations, unnecessary personal questions, and failure to acknowledge diversity
4. Gain knowledge and strategies for responding to microaggressions and addressing harassment, including documentation, confrontation (if safe), reporting, and supporting the mental health of individuals affected
This course helps organizations and individuals meet the nondiscrimination laws related to harassment, enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
