Industrial Athlete Symposium: Part 1

Presented by Neetu Trivedi and Keith Webster

A worker sits holding her shoulder as a coworker in a hard hat kneels to help, highlighting medbridge healthcare training.

Description

Level up your ability to support worker health and performance with the first installment of the Industrial Athlete Symposium. Part 1 introduces the essential foundations for translating clinical skills into industrial environments, including effective communication with workers and leadership, appropriate application of HIPAA and OSHA First Aid guidelines, and strategies for early injury intervention. Attendees will also gain a practical framework for building proactive industrial athlete programs—learning how to assess job demands, identify early warning signs, and deliver targeted prevention strategies despite challenges like shift work, production pressures, and employee skepticism. Designed for athletic trainers, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, Part 1 equips participants with actionable tools to enhance safety, engagement, and overall workforce well-being.
