Lisa Clossey
MS, CCC-SLP
As a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, Lisa has been practicing within the acute care arena for over nine years at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Prior, she practiced for approximately five years on the Traumatic Brain Injury unit for University of Maryland. She is a member of ASHA SID 2, Neurophysiology and Neurogenic Speech and Language Disorders, and SID 13, Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (Dysphagia). She is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
Lisa's clinical interests are in the areas of swallowing disorders, adult speech, language, and cognition following neurological impairments, including stroke and traumatic brain injury.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her children and participate in athletic events, such as sprint triathlons.

This webinar aims to identify COVID-19 patients who are at a high risk for dysphagia and/or cognitive-linguistic deficits. This webinar will provide speech-language pathologists information in regard to best evaluation and treatment options, as well as continuation of care. Speech-language pathologists who complete direct care for the adult population within an acute care and/or rehabilitation setting are the target audience.
