Patients receiving healthcare in the home may face a variety of potential safety issues. In this course, we'll examine some common challenges for patient safety in the home, including medication management and safe use of medical devices.

You will also learn about potential home hazards and possible steps to take if you encounter them.

This course aligns with federal requirements for training on safety issues in home health as well as ACHC accreditation standards for home health and hospice organizations.
