About Elizabeth Lane, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS, FAAOMPT, CF-L2
Dr. Elizabeth Lane has practiced in outpatient orthopedics for 13 years
and taught in post-professional continuing education since 2013. She
received her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from the Medical
College of Georgia. She holds board certification in orthopedics and is
a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical
Therapists. She completed her PhD at the University of Utah under the
direction of Julie Fritz, PT, PhD, FAPTA, with a focus on neuroscience
education for those with chronic spinal pain. Dr. Lane has served as
the director of an orthopedic residency and on the Residency/Fellowship
Education Special Interest Group of the APTA Academy of Education. She
currently holds a research faculty position at the University of Utah,
where her research interests include chronic pain, low back pain, and
pain neuroscience education.
