In this course, you’ll learn about federal and Illinois laws prohibiting sexual harassment and how sexual harassment is defined as well as examples. Then, you will find out about ways to prevent sexual harassment and steps to take if it happens. Employer and supervisor responsibilities to prevent and correct sexual harassment are included. The course finishes by reviewing reporting processes, legal remedies, and the importance of avoiding retaliation.
This course meets the regulatory standards outlined in the Illinois Human Rights Act and Whistleblower Act.
Licensed healthcare professionals in Illinois will need to take the CEU version Illinois Sexual Harassment Training (2022) for credit hours to maintain or renew their license. This compliance version is unaccredited for unlicensed staff in Illinois.
