Clinical decision-making in neurologic rehabilitation is complex, dynamic, and rarely linear. This symposium is designed to take you inside that process.

In Part 2 of this symposium, you’ll build on the decision-making framework introduced in Part 1 and apply it to two additional neurologic case studies. Using real patient video footage, this session offers a rare opportunity to observe expert-level clinical reasoning as it unfolds in real time. You’ll see how assessments evolve, how unexpected findings are handled, and how treatment decisions are adapted as patient performance changes.

The focus remains on practical, transferable decision-making skills that healthcare professionals can immediately apply in daily practice—regardless of setting or patient complexity.

If you have not yet viewed Part 1, we strongly recommend viewing the foundational framework webinar before attending Part 2.

Learning Outcomes
  • Apply principles of patient engagement, including behavioral economics, therapeutic alliance, and motivational interviewing, to optimize patient outcomes
  • Integrate clinical reasoning skills that reflect the application of person-specific information
  • Integrate information from the biopsychosocial attributes of each person to provide comprehensive and precise care
