Big changes are coming to Medicare hospice care. CMS is mandating hospice providers utilize a CMS-developed standardized assessment tool for all patients in their care. This is the first standardized interdisciplinary assessment tool for hospice providers which will collect data that will influence future payment models and quality measures.
