Giselle Carnaby
MPH, PhD, CCC-SLP, F-ASHA
Giselle Carnaby-Mann is a Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Health and Public Affairs at the University of Central Florida. Her research focus lies in survivorship and the rehabilitation of patients with swallowing disorders following Head/Neck cancer and stroke. She specializes in research epidemiology and biostatistics, and has worked extensively in neurology and dysphagia research trials.
Dr. Carnaby is the author of the “Mann Assessment of Swallowing Ability (MASA)” and a research scholar of the American Cancer Society. Dr. Carnaby was recently awarded one of ASHA’s highest honors, ASHA Fellow, in 2012.
