Kari Melby Shock

Kari Melby Shock, MPT, graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in 2002 and has dedicated most of her career to obstetrical and pelvic health physical therapy, with nearly two decades of leadership experience in specialty program development, clinical quality, and professional mentorship. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is actively engaged in physical therapy education, teaching within university physical therapy programs and nationally and internationally through a leading professional organization's certification and continuing education programming. She contributes to curriculum and instructional resource development and has held service roles supporting educational standards and governance. Her work reflects expertise in instructional design and translating complex clinical concepts into practical, evidence-informed learning experiences. Kari has received national recognition for excellence in instruction and professional service, is an author of peer-reviewed research, has presented at national and international professional conferences, and remains actively engaged in ongoing scholarly and educational initiatives.
