This course covers telehealth assessment and intervention in pediatric disorders within the school-age child population. This course on telehealth in pediatric physical therapy will improve the clinician's confidence in approaching school-age child assessment and treatment in telehealth. The course will provide examples of modifications for school-age child assessment and treatment to help the therapist easily transition to telehealth. The target audience includes occupational therapy, physical therapy, hospital outpatient settings, private practice outpatient settings, and school and early intervention settings. This course is part of the telehealth series.

In this chapter, you will identify the best practices for delivering optimal pediatric care in the telehealth environment.

2. Subjective Exam

In this chapter, you will apply strategies for effective subjective examination for the school-age child in a telehealth setting and identify key questions for screening in telehealth.

3. Objective Exam

In this chapter, you will administer a pediatric screening examination specific to the school-age child via telehealth and discuss gross motor milestones.

4. Intervention
