This course will prepare healthcare workers and staff for an active shooter, terrorism or bomb threat emergency. Learners will become familiar with the emergency response procedure, A-L-I-C-E, how to identify suspicious packages and how to conduct a bomb search in their facility. An interactive scenario will provide a thought provoking demonstration of what workers can expect during this type of emergency and how to appropriately communicate and cooperate with first responders.
