1. What is Sound Production Treatment?
The first chapter of this course will explain the basic tenants of sound production treatment within the AOS treatment guidelines.
2. Does SPT work?
Does sound production treatment work? This chapter will review research literature to establish the effectiveness of SPT for different patient populations and etiologies.
3. Development of Stimuli for Treatment and Assessment
In this chapter, participants will be given the opportunity to design stimuli for both assessment and treatment of AOS within the sound production treatment framework.
4. Administering the SPT Hierarchy
In the final chapter of this course, the participant will receive instruction on planning a typical SPT treatment session utilizing the SPT hierarchy and SPT treatment and probe forms.
5. Question and Answer
Dr. Wambaugh sits down with a practicing SLP to discuss concepts covered during the course.
