Maia Nystrum Braden

Maia Braden, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist with eleven years of experience working in voice and voice disorders. She became interested in speech pathology as a singer and earned her MS in Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. From there, she completed a clinical fellowship in voice at the Emory Voice Center. She has worked as the pediatric voice manager at the University of Wisconsin Voice and Swallow Clinics at American Family Children’s Hospital since 2009. She has published on the topic of pediatric voice disorders and has lectured extensively on the topic in local and national meetings. She has strong clinical and research interests in voice science and voice rehabilitation in children.
