Michelle C. Boling
PhD, LAT, ATC
Michelle C. Boling, PhD, LAT, ATC, is an associate professor and director of the athletic training program at the University of North Florida. She joined the UNF faculty in 2008 after completing her doctoral degree in human movement science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH). She received her master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in kinesiology and health promotion in 2004 and her bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science in 2002 from UNC-CH. Dr. Boling’s research focuses on the prevention and long-term consequences of patellofemoral pain, including patellofemoral osteoarthritis. She has been successful in securing external funding, including a grant from the National Institutes of Health to support her research, and has published several peer-reviewed manuscripts in the area of patellofemoral pain.
