Susan B. Perry

Susan B. Perry, PT, DPT, is Professor and Curriculum Director in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been a full-time faculty member at Chatham since 1995, where her primary teaching assignment includes adult neurologic rehabilitation. Her neurologic practice experience has spanned over 30 years, in settings from the ICU to outpatient rehabilitation.

She has published in the areas of functional outcomes in patients with stroke and traumatic brain injury; fall and fracture prevention; and knowledge translation in neurologic physical therapy. She was honored with APTA’s Education Section’s Distinguished Educator Award in 2012, and the Neurology Section’s Service to the Section Award in 2014.
