Teresa L. Schuemann

Dr. Teresa Schuemann has extensive experience in sports physical therapy after attaining her physical therapy degree from the University of Missouri: Columbia in 1987. She continues to serve as a member of the sports medicine team at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Center and previously with the International Triathlon Union. She attained her board certification in sports physical therapy (1996 and recertifications in 2006 and 2016), and her clinical doctorate in physical therapy through AT. Still University (2007). She is an athletic trainer certified (1995) and a certified strength and conditioning specialist (1995). She is an active member of professional organizations in physical therapy, athletic training, and sports physical therapy. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and outdoor activities like hiking, biking, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and trail running with her family.
