This course is the sixth in a series that documents the real-world progress of an athlete as he journeys through ACL reconstruction rehabilitation. This advanced course provides rehabilitation professionals with the specialized knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively develop a systematic change-of-direction and agility training program for athletes.
Actual footage from the athlete’s treatment session will offer practical application, insights, and real-time problem-solving into the successful integration of these techniques.

- Formulate strategies to mitigate the risk of reinjury during the return-to-sport phase through targeted agility and reactive training interventions
- Compare change-of-direction activities with agility activities
- Integrate sport-specific agility tests to assess progress during the return-to-sport (RTS) phase
- Apply a systematic approach to training agility in the return-to-sport process
- Use fundamental drills to prepare the athlete for change-of-direction and agility activities
- Create sport-specific scenarios to simulate real-game situations for final discharge testing, ensuring the athlete’s readiness for competition
