1. Infants: Birth Through 12 Months
Typical growth and developmental milestones met during infancy will be described in this chapter. The expected cognitive/intellectual, motor/physical, and social developmental skills that should be achieved during infancy will be emphasized.
2. Toddlers: From 1 to 3 Years of Age
Typical growth and developmental milestones met during the toddler years will be described in this chapter. The expected cognitive/intellectual, motor/physical, and social developmental skills that should be achieved during this time frame will be emphasized.
3. Preschoolers: From 4 to 5 Years of Age
Typical growth and developmental milestones met during the preschool years will be described in this chapter. The expected cognitive/intellectual, motor/physical, and social developmental skills that should be achieved during this time frame will be emphasized.
4. School-Age Children: From 6 to 12 Years of Age
