1. The Wrist Examination: Tendinopathy and Tenosynovitis Considerations
This chapter will explore the differential diagnosis of wrist tendinopathy and tenosynovitis by reviewing a systematic approach to examination. Course participants will consider a client’s individual presentation and interpret the client’s reporting of pain in the context of clinical findings.
2. FCR and FCU Differential Diagnosis: Volar Wrist Conditions
This chapter will explore volar wrist tendinopathy and tenosynovitis involving the FCR and FCU and guide differential diagnosis considerations from neighboring structures by applying examination findings. Course participants will draw out the relevant surface anatomy to improve palpation skills. Considerations for treatment planning for patients with volar wrist tendinopathy will be explored.
3. ECRL, ECRB, and ECU Differential Diagnosis: Dorsal Wrist Conditions
This chapter will explore dorsal wrist tendinopathy and tenosynovitis involving the ECRL, ECRB, and ECU and guide differential diagnosis considerations from neighboring structures by applying examination findings. Course participants will draw out the relevant surface anatomy to improve palpation skills. Options and considerations for treatment planning for patients with dorsal wrist tendinopathy will be explored.
