Annie Tapp
PT, DPT, PhD, NCS
Annie Tapp, PT, DPT, PhD, NCS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Human Performance and Rehabilitation Sciences at Youngstown State University and a board-certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical therapy. She teaches across the doctor of physical therapy curriculum, including courses in clinical decision-making, neurologic physical therapy, pathology, and therapeutic exercise. Her research focuses on high-intensity gait training and the implementation of this and other evidence-based rehabilitation practices in both inpatient and community settings. Dr. Tapp is also engaged in community initiatives supporting fall prevention and wellness programming for older adults.
