endever* corbin
Hi, I’m endever*! Lowercase please, and the star is silent. My pronouns are they/them/theirs/themself or xe/xem/xyrs/xemself.
I’m autistic! At this point, I’m mostly nonspeaking. I most often use a symbols-based AAC device to communicate when offline, plus I type, sign, letterboard, make mouth sounds, etc. I also use hearing aids for my auditory processing issues, so altogether I’m rather a cyborg.
I’m otherwise disabled! Mostly in the crazy sense: bipolar disorder, anorexia in partial remission, etc., etc. I also have a few physical conditions (POTS, for one) that are currently quite well-managed. It’s the crazy that tends to be more difficult.
I’m trans! Nonbinary, if a well-known term is needed, but I love microlabels. Here are some of my favorites of the moment: I’m an autqueer contrabinary genderpunk.
I’m queer! Aspec, if a well-known term is needed, but again - microlabels. So, acevague/arovague are probably closer fits. Any attractions I do notice seem to be governed by queerness/punkness.
How I spend most of my spoons: giving presentations (AAC/autism/disability/etc.), writing (blogs/poems/novels/etc.), researching (particularly AAC for speaking/semispeaking autistics), and co-moderating #AutChat on BlueSky.
My special interests usually include whichever of “my” series I’m currently rotated onto for a rewatch. And my favorite stim toys are called Tangle Jr.
I’m looking forward to moving in with my partner, metamour, and our expected infant soon.
