Lara Collins Barros

Lara Barros is a school-based occupational therapist working in a suburb north of Chicago. She received her BS in OT from Wayne State University in Detroit and started her career working in hospital and outpatient settings. She earned her MS in OT from the University of Illinois at Chicago and started working in the school setting. In 2021, she graduated from New York University with her OTD, focusing on school-based practice, the use of AT to support written expression, and using the CO-OP™ Approach to support school-based practice. Lara is a certified CO-OP™ therapist and instructor.
