Lori Cover

Lori Cover is a masters-prepared registered nurse with nearly two decades of experience caring for medically fragile and special-needs pediatric populations. She is passionate about improving quality of life through evidence-based practice and patient education.

Lori holds a master of science in nursing with a focus in nursing education and a bachelor of science in nursing from Chamberlain University, a diploma in nursing from St. Luke’s School of Nursing, and a bachelor of arts in speech communication with a minor in gerontology from Shippensburg University. She is currently pursuing her doctor of nursing practice at Aspen University. Lori??’s clinical career spans a broad range of pediatric and maternal-child settings, including NICU, postpartum, and gynecological surgical care at Sacred Heart Hospital; residential pediatric psychiatric care at KidsPeace; pediatric home health nursing with Bayada; and pediatric inpatient rehab for medically fragile children at Good Shepherd, where she empowers parents to confidently resume their caregiver roles and mentors fellow associates. She currently also serves as a nurse with Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit, providing nursing care to children with special needs in early intervention’s special programs and services.

A member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success, Lori maintains certifications in CPR/AED, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Beyond her clinical work, she leads the medical ministry at her church and fosters vulnerable animals at home. Lori is committed to lifelong learning and to equipping nurses and families with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
