Mary Ann Roelke

Dr. Mary Ann Roelke is a distinguished expert in adult neurologic rehabilitation at UnityPoint Health–Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. After earning her postprofessional doctoral degree from Creighton University, she made significant contributions to the field by publishing qualitative research on concussion rehabilitation. Her insights have been shared on prestigious platforms, including the American Occupational Therapy Association national conference and the World Federation of Occupational Therapy. She pioneered occupational therapy services within a low vision optometry office and has lectured extensively on topics related to neurologic and low vision. She has advanced training in persistent pain management, driver rehabilitation, and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia, and is passionate about integrating evidence-based practices into emerging fields. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Roelke enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, biking, kayaking, and backcountry camping.
