Stephen Ramsey

Stephen Ramsey, PT, DPT, CCS is a board-certified cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapist with over a decade of clinical experience in a high-acuity CVICU. He specializes in critical care rehabilitation, mobilization of patients on temporary circulatory support, and integrating point-of-care ultrasound in clinical practice. Stephen is the founder of The POCUS PT, a consulting and education brand focused on diagnostic ultrasound, critical care, and mechanical circulatory support. He was also lead author of the 2024 ELSO Guideline for Early Rehabilitation and Mobilization of Adult Patients on ECMO. He teaches as adjunct faculty in Mercer University's Physician Assistant Program and serves as Director-at-Large for SPOCUS through the AAPA.
