Christopher Jones, PT, is Director of Strategic Initiatives in Rehabilitation Services for the Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente, Northern California. Chris's portfolio includes enhancement and spread of Kaiser's "OnlinePT" programming, which integrates MedBridge's … Patient Engagement platform with Kaiser Permanente's national rehabilitation programs to support KP's virtual care. Christopher is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, and has over 30 years of clinical and leadership experience in a broad array of settings, including Outpatient Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Acute Care Rehabilitation. Chris is a practitioner and facilitator in Advanced Human Centered Design, and uses his extensive background in clinical care, enterprise leadership, and process improvement to drive virtual care initiatives for Kaiser Permanente Rehabilitation Services.

Emmanuel Fajardo, DPT, MS

Emmanuel Fajardo is the Regional Director, Rehabilitation Services Kaiser Permanente. In this role, his area of responsibility includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology Clinic and Hospital Services for Northern California. Dr. Fajardo works with Executive … Leadership from the Medical Group and Health Plan to establish and implement a region-wide strategy to ensure consistent quality and delivery of rehabilitation services across the region. Working with medical center leaders in areas such as capacity planning, space planning, workflow changes, operational consulting, technology adoption, and performance-based change management approaches. His work with the Rehabilitation Services leaders is the key to establish real change in a large health care system. Jennifer “Leigh” Harris, PT, DPT

Leigh Harris, PT, DPT, is Director of Operations for Clinical Quality and Research with AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehabilitation, and has been in practice for 22 years. Leigh plays an integral role in many AdventHealth committees including Outpatient Administration Steering, … Research and Sports SIGs. She leads AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab's Clinical Leadership Committee, Clinical Ambassador Program and is the Administrative liaison for AdventHealth's APTA credentialed Orthopedic Residency program. Leigh is a member of the APTA Council for Health Systems Quality subcommittee. Leigh has assisted in the development, implementation and dissemination of several care process models for her system including Low Back, Hip and Cervical Spine pain, as well as the implementation of an outcomes registry system. Most recently, she played a key role in the successful launch of Telehealth for AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab. In addition, Leigh has administrative responsibilities over department research and outcomes. She is passionate and focused on clinical quality of rehabilitation, implementation science, and value-based care.

Marcie Hurlbutt, MSPT

Marcie Hurlbutt, MSPT, is the Senior Director, Rehabilitation Services for Spectrum Health, a $7 billion not-for-profit integrated health system based in West Michigan. In her primary role, she provides oversight and direction for 800+ team members and is responsible for formulating … the strategic plan and operational goals for a $140+ million revenue-generating business across 60 locations and 13 counties. Her oversight encompasses physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech & language pathology across the full continuum of healthcare, including: outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient acute rehab and skilled nursing facilities.

Marcie Hurlbutt has been a member of Spectrum Health's leadership team since May 2007 where she was the recipient of Spectrum Health Continuing Care's 2010 leadership award, and 2014 leadership award for Exemplary Example of System Thinking and Collaboration. She earned her Master's Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University and completed her clinical training at Schwab Rehabilitation Center (Chicago, IL), Oaklawn Physical Therapy (Battle Creek, MI) and Tim Bondy Physical Therapy (Harbor Springs, MI).

Marcie practiced as a geriatric and neuro rehab physical therapist within Sparrow Health System (Lansing, MI), Mercy Health System (Cadillac, MI) and St. Mary's Health System (Grand Rapids, MI) prior to joining Spectrum Health.
