Chapters & learning objectives
1. Observational Assessment of the Baby: Guiding Questions
Chapter 1 outlines key areas to consider when evaluating babies that will lead to intervention strategies. Questions for the family, and specific things to observe with both the parent and baby are discussed. In addition, therapists will learn how these findings lay the groundwork to effectively support the family and promote the child’s development.
2. What Can be Learned from the 0 to 3-Month-Old?
Chapter 2 takes a close look at not only functional gains of the 0 to 3-month-old, but also the underlying components that support developmental changes.
