1. What Can Be Learned From the 4-6 Month Old?
Chapter 1 takes a close look at not only functional gains of the 4 to 6-month-old, but also the underlying components that support developmental changes. Photos of babies progressing through development are presented in order to clearly demonstrate these changes and why they are important to further development.
2. Prone Reach, Supine & Rolling 4-6 Months: Comparison of Babies & Treatment Strategies
Chapter 2 presents photos of typically developing babies as well as babies with developmental delays from a variety of diagnoses. An analysis of these children is discussed along with strategies to encourage further development of function and critical components in prone reach, supine & rolling.
3. Belly Crawling & Sitting 4-6 Months: Comparison of Babies & Treatment Strategies
Chapter 3 presents photos of typically developing babies as well as babies with developmental delays from a variety of diagnoses. An analysis of these children is discussed along with strategies to encourage further development of function and critical components in belly crawling & sitting, as well as the pre-requisites, for these higher level skills.
