1. Sensory Integration and Reflex Integration
This chapter reviews the link between sensory processing and reflex integration. Participants will review current assessment methods of both sensory integration and reflex integration and will review and evaluate the evidence of reflex integration treatment.
2. Dyspraxia From a Sensory Integration Perspective
This chapter will focus on somatodyspraxia and its potential role in poorly integrated reflexes. Participants will learn how to assess, differentiate, and develop an occupation-based intervention plan.
3. Occupation-Based Outcomes
This chapter will provide a comparison between sensory integration treatment and reflex integration as well as discuss proximal and distal outcome measures. The chapter will provide information on how to implement reflex integration research into practice to provide an occupation-based intervention for clients to meet their goals.
