This course describes how caregivers can best think about difficult moments with children in order to achieve better outcomes. With the right understanding, caregivers can manage their own emotions to better manage the emotions of their clients. Ways to de-escalate crises and help children regulate themselves are described. Seven common categories of triggers to frustration and anxiety are outlined in detail.
