This course is part of a series on the Graston Technique(R). In the course Mike Ploski analyzes the current evidence related to the evaluation and treatment of elbow tendonalgia. In addition, this course will review the principles of Graston Technique(R) and offer a rationale for its use in accordance with the current literature and histopathological implications. The participant will be introduced to the protocol, goals of treatment, how to evaluate and treat elbow tendonalgia and the rationale for the GT progression during the different phases of recovery. Mike Ploski has been a certified athletic trainer since 1986 and a physical therapist since 1988. He has been board certified in orthopedics since 1998. 1. Introduction to Elbow Tendonalgia

The first chapter of this course introduces the participant to the current evidence related to the histology of elbow tendonalgia, as well as the patholpysiology and stages of tendinopathy.

2. Evaluation of Elbow Tendonalgia

The second chapter of this course takes a closer look at the anatomy of the elbow, and introduces differential diagnosis and provocative testing of elbow tendonalgia.

3. Elbow Tendonalgia Treatment Concepts

This chapter reviews the evidence for the treatment of elbow tendonalgia including evidence related to the effects of Graston Technique® in relation to the histopathology pf tendonagia.

4. Demonstration of Graston Technique for the Treatment of Elbow Tendonalgia: Case Study

The final chapter of this course applies concepts from the course to a case example, illustrating the implementation of Graston Technique® to elbow tendonalgia.
