1. Asthma and Exercise-Induced Bronchospasm

2. Antidepressants
Chapter 2 is a brief exploration of commonly prescribed types of antidepressants. This is a category of medications that are commonly used in the athletic population with a moderate list of side effects that must be recognized. This chapter builds on the understanding of pharmacodynamics.
3. Athletic Skin Infections
It is incredibly important for the sports therapist to know and understand treatments for skin infections frequently seen in athletes and the typical medications used. Another important component of this lecture covers when athletes can return to play and how legal considerations play a role in the management of athletic medicines.
4. Legal Issues
Chapter 4 will cover several legal issues that are directly related to medications. Applying these to many clinical settings is important for the sports clinician. Join Dr. Todd Arnold and Dr. Katie Whetstone as they discuss common questions in pharmacology for the sports therapist.
