Join Lenny Macrina as he provides a detailed look into shoulder overuse injuries. This course discusses the evaluation, treatment, and progression of patients with overuse injuries to the shoulder and surrounding soft tissue. A brief synopsis of the anatomy, biomechanics and typical presentation will be discussed in lecture and case format. 1. Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

This chapter provides a thorough introduction to thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), including the anatomy, general prevalence, and types. Lenny Macrina covers neurogenic, venous, neurologic, and arterial compression and uses a detailed case study and exercise demonstration to provide the viewer with a comprehensive understanding of TOS.

2. Biceps Tendinopathy

To effectively recognize and treat biceps tendinopathy, the therapist must first possess a solid familiarity with the condition itself. Macrina provides this through a pathophysiology histological analysis, differential diagnosis, and examination in the lecture and through a case study.

3. Suprascapular Neuropathy

Focusing on suprascapular neuropathy, this chapter provides thorough anatomical references as well as an introduction to the typical presentation of the condition and the essentials of a good exam. Macrina further explores his own experiences with suprascapular neuropathy through a case study.

4. Subacromial Impingement

The presentation, differential diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes of subacromial impingement are all thoroughly examined in this chapter. Macrina explores the intervention, examination, and important conclusions for a patient with subacromial impingement. In addition, Macrina touches upon recent literature and anatomy. This chapter also provides exercise demonstrations and a case study.
