1. Implementing IDDSI in a Pediatric Healthcare Setting
This chapter will assist the viewer in constructing a plan for how to successfully implement IDDSI in a healthcare setting. Key stakeholders will be identified and roles clearly defined. Possible barriers to implementation will be reviewed as well as potential solutions.
2. Providing Education for a Successful Rollout
This chapter will discuss opportunities for education across disciplines that will increase provider buy-in and carryover. Examples of IDDSI education across multiple modalities will be provided.
3. IDDSI for Itty-Bitty Patients
This chapter will inspire menu development and provide examples of how to produce IDDSI-compliant, kid-friendly recipes for pediatric dysphagia patents. Testing methods will be applied to analyze the consistency of each food item.
