What approaches can be used to properly assess and treat a child's self-regulation? Challenges in self-regulation often lead children to display difficulty with participation in age appropriate activities that require practical methods of assessment for proper treatment intervention. This course reviews the neurological connection to treatment techniques, and assessment, to address a child's self-regulation relating to diagnoses such as autism, sensory processing disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Case examples and demonstrations provide a hands-on approach to delivering the content.
