In addition to investments, you will learn about important insurance policies to include within your financial plan to protect your family in case of financial catastrophes. Tools will be provided, and you can print a sample investing plan, insurance checklist, and estate planning checklist at the end of the course. This is part 3 of a 3-course series on improving your financial health.

3. Insurance: Preparing for the Unexpected

In this chapter, you will learn the key types of insurance policies to consider within your financial plan. Included in this chapter is an insurance checklist to download and use within your financial plan.

4. Estate Planning: Making a Plan in Advance

In this chapter, you will learn the importance of titling accounts appropriately, why you should establish a will, and other ways to manage your personal and financial assets in the case of death or incapacitation. Available for download is a sample estate planning portion of a financial plan as well as the estate planning checklist.
