Stefany Shaibi, PT, DPT, EdD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University. She is a board-certified clinical geriatric and orthopedic specialist - emeritus. She teaches in the orthopedic areas of the curriculum, as well as implementation of geriatric content throughout. Dr. Shaibi is a 2023 graduate of the APTA Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership. She recently completed her Doctor of Education from Arizona State University's focusing on Leadership and Innovation. She received her entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California and her bachelors degrees from Arizona State University. Her research centers around health disparities in the geriatric community, as well as educational research related to first-generation college students and junior faculty mentorship.
