MTI Physical Therapy Partners with MedBridge for Telehealth Solutions

New partnership allows for ongoing and effective remote care in a rapidly shifting healthcare environment

Seattle, WA—MTI Physical Therapy’s network of clinics in Washington State has partnered with MedBridge to provide effective care and patient support during the COVID-19 crisis. MTI is committed to patient care with low volume, one-to-one, evidenced-based care. To accommodate social distancing protocols, MTI has also launched the option of remote therapy via MedBridge’s Telehealth Virtual Visits solution.

“The safety and health of our patients is our utmost priority,” said Jim Rivard, MTI’s Founder and President. “As our staff continue to provide the highest level of care, we are also focused on creating a safe environment for our patients. Virtual platforms like MedBridge’s Telehealth allow us to engage our patients digitally and provide the attention they need, especially when an in-person visit is not possible. MedBridge’s system allows for multiple remote touch points with each patient, allowing us to stay connected during this challenging time.”

MedBridge’s Telehealth Virtual Visits solution allows MTI to remotely care for patients in real time, providing a HIPAA-compliant method for continuing treatment plans during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. Virtual Visits are integrated into the platform in a way that supports normal clinician workflow, making the transition to remote care simpler and more intuitive for both clinicians and patients.

Now more than ever, MTI is committed to fostering rapport, engagement, and education with its patients, and the company is leveraging Telehealth Virtual Visits to build, share, and discuss targeted home exercises with their patients during each e-visit.

“Both our patients and clinicians are happy to have this option available to them,” stated one of
MTI’s Clinical Managers, Rebecca Catlin. “Our clinical teams have dedicated their careers to helping others, and staying connected to their patients is vital for our staff, especially in this time. We found MedBridge’s Telehealth product to be intuitive, and we were conducting virtual visits within two days from launch.”

Telehealth Virtual Visits is part of MedBridge’s Digital Patient Engagement Suite, which includes Home Exercise Programs, Patient Education, and a Program Adherence Tracker, along with in-app messaging and satisfaction monitoring with the MedBridge GO Patient App. The virtual patient care solution, paired with MedBridge’s remote training, infection prevention, and crisis management education, offers healthcare organizations a complete solution to combat the challenges of this time.

“In the current environment, providers are facing many challenges, including that of maintaining continuity of care and engagement,” said Justin Kowalchuk, CEO of MedBridge. “As new obstacles arise, MedBridge is committed to developing more innovative solutions for remote care, education, and training and to help our partners adjust to a new business paradigm.”
